How to rotate the register of ME-PD water meter for vertical installation
Have you purchased our ME-PD positive displacement meter to install vertically and found that when you install it with the water flow going in the direction of the arrow on the body, as required, you find the register is upside down and hard to read? There is a way to fix this in the field. However, it is preferable if you let us know this in advance, so we can do it for you before we ship it out. If you already have the meter and need to switch it, the following video will show you how to do it. Part of the instructions shows that you have to cut the tamper wire. This action VOIDS THE WARRANTY on the meter. In addition, in order to accomplish the switch you are also going to need a new small locking pin and new tamper wire.
